Parts of the New Inn date back to 1430, when it was an inn for pilgrims who came to Gloucester Cathedral. The ancient mediaeval courtyard has galleries on all sides and is one of the finest examples to be seen in Britain today. Beautifully restored and refurbished, the inn offers comfortable en suite rooms with wonderful original features, including historic wooden beams. All of the rooms have TVs and tea/coffee. The traditional grill and carvery restaurant offers authentic English dishes in charming surroundings.
