In the evening, look forward to a scrumptious dinner served in a candlelit dining room. The seasonal menu provides a wide range of choices and with advance notice, the chefs can cater for all diets. Lounges - The Beatrix Potter library has a range of books, guides and leaflets on the area for you to browse through, as well as information on Beatrix Potter herself. The hilltop lounge with its sunny aspect overlooks the lawns with a garden door that opens up onto the terrace. And as the evening descends, relax in the bar lounge in front of the log fire and enjoy the tipple of your choice from the well stocked bar, whether it be a glass of local beer or a flute of fine champagne. Leisure Facilities - A small heated indoor pool, sauna and fitness room are available. There is also the chance for guests to unwind with a massage, but it is best to book in advance.
