Warrens
This large Victorian town-house, located just 350 metres from the City Walls, was a finalist for Guest House of the year 2006-2007. The hotel is positioned just a short stroll from the city centre, racecourse, train station, business centres and numerous attractions. Built in 1880, Warrens was created from 2 large Victorian Town Houses, offering modern comforts in traditional surroundings. All rooms are en-suite, with Double and 4-poster rooms available on request. Each room is individual in its design, many with original Victorian features such as cornicing, ceiling roses and some with the original Victorian fireplaces. Awake each morning to a hearty English or vegetarian breakfast served in the conservatory, before starting your day.
