Virginia Court Hotel
This family-run hotel was recently re-furbished and is situated in a beautiful tree-lined avenue. Owned originally by the Crown, it was built by Edward VII, Prince of Wales, as a Gentlemans Club. Opposite North Lodge Park, it is 274 metres (300 yards) from the beach and a 5-minute stroll to the town and its famous pier, where shows are held throughout the summer, as well as the annual Christmas Spectacular later in the year. The North Norfolk coast is an area of outstanding natural beauty and has an abundance of stately homes and other attractions.
