The Wessex Hotel
Atop the prestigious West Cliff, the 3-star Wessex Hotel offers 109 en suite bedrooms and free car parking. With its town centre location, it is the perfect place to stay for business or pleasure. Please note that from the 1st July 2007 the hotel and bedrooms will be all non-smoking. The recently refurbished bar area is available to tempt you with its dishes or sample afternoon tea and a pre-dinner drink in the comfortable lounges. The hotel leisure club offers indoor/outdoor heated pools, a sauna, steam room, gym and full size snooker table. Corporate guests can make use of the Wi-Fi in the public areas. The Wessex also offers 5 air conditioned conference and banqueting rooms for up to 500 guests. The Wessex is part of Forestdale Hotels. We now have 19 hotels in the UK and one in France.
Brief accommodation description
Children with 2 parents: Aged between 4 and 14 are charged for meals only, payable directly to the hotel with 2 parents. Children with one parent: Aged between 4 and 14 are charged 50 % of adult price. Please contact the hotel on any further information on children rate. Due to our town centre location, unfortunately we do not have any sea views. Please note that bedrooms may be affected by noise if we have a private event in the hotel.
