The Waverley Hotel


An Edwardian hotel under new management since August 2006, The Waverley is ideal for the business or leisure traveller. The hotel frontage has been fully refurbished, and most bedrooms have sea and promenade views. There is a gastro-bar with a sea terrace (fully non-smoking) and a newly refurbished seafood/grill restaurant that offers an extensive menu, ideal for intimate dining, family gatherings and business dinners. Food is prepared using the freshest of local produce. Both the bar and restaurant offer superb sea views.

Brief accommodation description

The newly refurbished private function room, with its own bar area, accommodates up to 80 guests. The room is ideal for intimate wedding receptions and parties, while its good light is well suited for business meetings/conferences. Audiovisual can be provided. Menus can be catered to suit all budgets, designed specifically to your requirements by our experienced chefs and kitchen staff. The Deben Room also has its own dance floor.
