The Silver Jubilee


Ideally situated on the level in the heart of Newquay, this 3-star guest house is just a short stroll away from 7 fine sandy beaches and the harbour. Being near the rail and coach stations, it is well situated for day trips to such destinations as Tintagel, Padstow, Eden Project and St.Ives etc. Every effort is made to source locally produced food. A fruit basket is provided at reception and all rooms are tastefully decorated in pastel shades. All rooms contain an en suite shower and toilet, and are complemented with towels, a hairdryer, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, radio/alarms and a small fridge.

Brief accommodation description

The Silver Jubilee, built with local granite as a private house in 1898, was renovated in 1977 to create 7 en suite, self-contained rooms, with a restaurant and bar/lounge on the ground floor. To this day, it is a cosy, family-run establishment, dedicated to guest comfort and well being. Every wish is catered for and every request wherever possible met. Judith (who is Swiss) and Andrew (English) take great pride in welcoming new and regular guests.
