The Garden House Hotel is a little jewel nestling at the heart of the village of St Margarets at Cliffe. Both the hotel and the extremely successful Bayleaf Restaurant are family-run and as such, everyone prides themselves on going the extra mile to ensure that guests have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Housed in a beautiful, traditional Kentish weather boarded building, parts of which date back to Elizabethan times, the hotel has a stylish, contemporary feel without compromising the charm of the delightful historic building. In winter, guests can warm themselves by the roaring log fire whilst in summer they are welcome to enjoy the sun in the pretty walled garden. Rooms are equipped with all modern conveniences and there is ample off-road parking.

The hotel has a relaxed, country house style and guests are encouraged to make themselves at home in our comfortable lounge. The Bayleaf restaurant at the hotel is very popular locally and early booking is recommended to ensure a table. The food is all freshly prepared from scratch using top quality free range or organic produce locally sourced wherever possible. The menu is seasonal and changes on the 1st of each month.
