Newby Bridge Hotel
The Hotel was originally known as Newby Bridge Mansion. It was built in 1793 by James Machel and was one of the first great houses to be built on the shores of Lake Windermere. The hotel has its own leisure facilities exclusive to hotel guests which includes a swimming pool, steam room, jacuzzi & gym and for the less energetic tranquil Mediterranean gardens.
