Lythe Hill Hotel And Spa
This privately owned hotel is nestled in 30 acres of Surrey countryside; a special place of evocative contrasts, offering relaxed luxury and high service standards. Lythe Hill Hotel And Spa has recently completed a large GBP 1 million refurbishment which included the main building of the hotel along with some of the public areas, the main function rooms and 31 bedrooms. Along with the new facilities there is an award winning restaurant and a superb spa facility featuring a swimming pool, steam room, cold temple shower, sauna, a fully equipped gymnasium and 4 treatment rooms. Part of this hotels special appeal is its variety; you are welcomed to the property by a bold timepiece in the courtyard promising hearty hospitality. While elsewhere, in the spa, another clock style suggests a more leisurely pace and time to relax from the pressures of the modern world.
Brief accommodation description
The oldest building at Lythe Hill dates back to 1475 and forms part of the rich history of the local area. Cromwell billeted his troops here overnight during the Civil War. In the 18th Century, the building was used as a courthouse and legend suggests that miscreants awaited their fate on the old bench in the Auberge de France. The spacious award winning Amarna Spa follows in the long Lythe Hill tradition of improvement. With its engaging architecture and state-of-the- art spa facilities
