Holmlea Guesthouse is perfectly placed just 10 minutes walk from the centre of York with easy access to Yorks many attractions. We are located 400 yards from Yorks medieval walls which surround the city centre and within the Bishopthorpe Road area of York, a quiet and safe base with good local amenities for your visit including many restaurants, bars and delightful pubs. Holmlea has double, four poster family/triple and twin rooms available, all with en-suite or private non-shared bathrooms, all of which are non-smoking. Concessions are offered for single occupancy. We also have ground floor rooms with easy access for the partially disabled. Holmlea accommodates up to 16 guests and offers inexpensive, high quality accommodation in York. Our room and front door keys offer 24-hour access. All rooms are beautifully decorated and equipped with colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. There is also an iron and ironing board and hairdryers for guest use. A complimentary continental breakfast is served to the privacy of your room at whatever time you wish. No need to worry about parking, permits are provided for free, safe and unrestricted on-street parking.
