Best Western Le Strange Arms Hotel

Best Western Le Strange Arms Hotel

Situated on the Norfolk coast, the Le Strange Arms Hotel boasts unparalleled views of the Wash. An area abounding in natural beauty, unspoilt beaches and abundant wildlife. The hotel originated from a farmhouse in the 1600s and has been continuously developed over the years to the present establishment. One of the hotels unique features is that, whilst situated on the East coast, it faces due West overlooking the Wash (one of the largest estuaries in Britain), giving guests a perfect view of Norfolk sunsets. The hotels stylish and comfortable restaurant is the perfect setting to enjoy the selection of meals and wines for which the hotel has gained a reputation. The Ancient Mariner is a traditional pub which provides informal dining with snacks and meals together with cask ales and wine. So please relax and enjoy the beach, visit the local wildlife reserves and the many places of historical interest that are within easy reach. The Le Strange Arms Hotel is situated in the lovely village of Old Hunstanton. The hotels grounds stretch down to the seashore to one of the finest beaches on the Norfolk coast. The famous Hunstanton championship golf course is within 400 yards of the hotel and with numerous other fine courses within a few miles, golf parties are welcome at the hotel. Excellent shopping facilities are available. The market town of Kings Lynn and numerous attractions such as Norfolk Lavender and Sandringham House are situated within a 30 minute drive. Situated midway between RSPB Titchwell and RSPB Snettisham (6 miles), the hotel has close links with the visitors centre at Titchwell and has established itself as one of the leading hotels for birdwatching groups in the area. Nearer at hand, across the road from the hotel is the Le Strange Old Barns, Antiques, Arts and Crafts Centre, which is believed to be the largest of its kind in Norfolk. Please note that we have no ground floor bedrooms.
